Randall "Lynch Box" RM100LB George Lynch signature amp head

Skull & Bones !

Lynch Box, not the "Lunch Box" ...

Green Eyed Alligator.

Typical Randall MTS design - interchangeable preamp modules.

My Lynch Box comes with George Lynch signature MTS modules :
1) "Super V" (discontinued) - Clean module with "VOX-like" British tone characteristics.
Nice chime on the highs with warm low bottom end.
2) "Mr. Scary" - The trademark Lynch heavy rhythm & lead tone of the famed Dokken era.
3) "Grail" - Lynch's modern lead & rhythm tone. A true Rectifier feel with tight low end and cutting mid-range.
"Mr.Scary" and "Grail" are more old-school/vintage higain voicing to me.

I bought another three famous Randall MTS preamp modules : CLEAN, ULTRA and ULTRA XL.
Both ULTRA and ULTRA XL are similar modern higain modules, but ULTRA XL has little bit more high-mid frequency.
Unfortunately, ULTRA and ULTRA XL aren't brutal enough for my taste.

Back panel - series FX loop, parallel FX loop, MIDI-in/thru and worldwide voltage selector.

RUBY selected JJ E34L are the stock poweramp tubes. JJE34L has deeper/tighter low end, punchier
and more aggressive than usual EL34. I like them in my ENGL Invader.

Electro-Harmonix KT88 installed. External bias system from Randall, it's very user friendly and safely. Each powertube of them can be biased independently and individually. You can easily mix any type of octal base tubes such as 6L6/5881, EL34/6CA7, KT77, KT88/6550 and etc without any problem.

Comes with Randall RF1 MIDI footswitch.
